Book reviews: Holly Bourne’s novel Pretending, about online dating, has sexual violence at its heart by Claire Allfree Published April 5, Published Apr 5, ARE you a female who has ventured on to a dating app?.

This book was terribly slow. It flips between 14 year old Molly in NC to 38 year old Molly in San Diego. I don't know who is more annoying, the 14 year old or the 38 year old. On a plus note, while most of the characters in "Pretending to Dance" were very annoying/boring, there were a few who were really great, stand out characters.

Pretending to Read = Learning to Read Did you know that pretending to read is an important step in learning to read? I've seen children as young as one, flipping pages in a book while talking and babbling to themselves, to dolls, or to stuffed animals.

I've seen preschoolers and kindergartners who love to play "teacher," and will pretend to. To say this book is detailed is an understatement, it goes step by step how a prop plane works, and what a pilot does during the flight.

The retro pictures are both a favorite of mine and my son’s, they take you back and make you feel like you are in another place and time. This book will be too long for young toddlers, there is a lot of text.
